About me
About me
I am a writer, thinker, and modern public intellectual, a sovereign mind with a warrior’s clarity and a Shepherd’s presence. After 28 years in law, including 17 as a Partner, I now write clarity‑driven essays on leadership, justice, and the human condition. I am also a columnist.
My authority is lived experience and fierce clarity. My voice is a sharp pen and a grounded presence. I write about resilience, reinvention, grief, integrity, leadership, sanctuary, and the quiet strength required to rebuild a life on one’s own terms.
Alongside my writing, I offer selective coaching and clarity work for leaders and professionals navigating complexity, reinvention, or identity shifts. My coaching is the applied version of my thinking, grounded in lived wisdom, emotional depth, and 28 years of leadership in law.
My mission is to inspire and uplift through storytelling, coaching, and connection. I believe in the power of sharing our stories to heal, grow, and create a life of purpose and vitality.
Qualifications
My qualifications are LLB (Hons.) MBA, ILM7 in Coaching and Mentoring senior professionals in operational and strategic roles. I am a non-practising Solicitor. As a Resilience Coach, I adhere to the EMCC Global code of Ethics.
When I am not coaching and supporting my clients, I enjoy writing my newspaper columns, running and walking with my incredible German Shepherd, Oscar. My previous volunteering roles include Trusteeship of Carers Leeds, and a telephone friend for the Silver Line, both for six years. Now, I dedicate my spare time to people I know who need my help.
